New Prayers to the Seven Planets by Reverend Janglebones

The days (and the hours if you use grimoiric timing methods) are governed by, if not outright belong to, the planets, and in an animist world this means that each day when we rise we find ourselves standing in someone else's territory. It stands to reason that a short acknowledgement and a small gift would go a long way towards avoiding offense to the host as well as any interference in one’s practice or daily life which may result therefrom. It's just good manners.

The prayers for the days of the week, or planetary prayers, from Hygromanteia had become a staple of my practice, but I craved something with a little more flavor. I wanted the potency of grimoiric prayer with the mouthfeel of witch charm. My intent was to write prayers to the planets as an animist practitioner, adding both texture and finesse to some otherwise effective, but at times rather clunky prayers.
