Magical Fortitude: Ancestors & Place

Magical Fortitude: Ancestors & Place will take you on a two-month+ practically intensive journey with your fellow course mates in which you will explore and come to intimately know the spirits of your locale and lineages, both human and nonhuman alike through curated animist thinking and praxis.

You will cultivate relationships with the spirits who feed you, who give your life context and meaning, soar overhead, and shape the earth beneath your feet.

Our ancestors, human and otherwise, and our relationship with the earth are our biggest everyday influences and our first lines of defense against less-than-helpful energies, entities, and patterns with whom we are in relation.

In this course you will connect with these spirits who offer uncanny stability and coherence to our daily lives by making the sincere effort to come into the right sort of relations with them. You will form an alliance with a powerful ancient underworld ally, heal the restless ancestors of two of your bloodlines, and walk away from this course with the tools to move forward with healing your remaining lineages whenever you choose to, as an experienced necromancer. You will have the opportunity to connect with ancestors who were spirit workers, magicians, and witches, pay lineage-based spiritual debts, and reorganize your spirit team, all while forming friendships with other like minded practitioners in the Discord community.

The course is text-based to ensure that the materials may be modified to suit your individual practice and learning to use one's intuition to do so is a secondary but equally important lesson contained herein.

Contents include:

-Prayers & magical workings, both original creations as well as selections contemporarily & classically sourced. 

-Weekly Zoom calls for casual chats, stories, and Q&A.

-Additional recommended reading and watching lists provided with each lesson offering a deeper and more textured context for the work.

-Effective and practical magical techniques to increase stability and connectedness with the more-than-human world in your everyday modern life.

-A unique method of ancestral healing inspired by the Greek Magical Papyri utilizing the assistance of a powerful psychopomp ally. This method contains additional safety buffers and does not require any journeying or trance proficiency. Anyone with minimal ritual experience can do it effectively and safely.

-Supplementary materials & suggestions for deepening your understanding of the course work and a simple divination system for navigating your way.

-A full community experience as you form friendships, share experiences, and hone your divination skills throughout multiple chat channels and topics in our dedicated Discord server. (6 months of membership included free, $5/mo thereafter.)

-Ask course related questions any time in the chat. No need to wait for email replies or scheduled Q&A events.

Ideally, participants will be in relation to their locale for the majority of the course, that is not traveling away from the home turf for more than a week or so at one time, however several participants have undertaken the work in the midst of moving to a different region and found the local spirits incredibly helpful in smoothing out that process.

Approximate time requirement is estimated to be 4-7 hrs per week, but this can vary depending upon what work one chooses to do and how deep they choose to go with any given practice. I cannot stress this enough, the work is self paced. Only the order in which the work is done is of importance, not the time it takes, and the modules are released upon request through Discord.
